Many companies have transitioned to a work-from-home model for their employees since the pandemic hit. Comcast Business offers two solutions to accommodate those changes: Home Based Business (HBB) and Comcast Business At Home (CB At Home). It’s important to know the difference between the two.
Home Based Business – This solution is best for a self-employed small business owner. Home-based businesses are managed and operated by the business owner from their own home and do not have any additional employees. All services can be set up in either the Individuals name or the business name, and all correspondence and billing is sent directly to the home.
Comcast Business At Home (CB At Home) – This solution is best for an employer whose company has moved their employees to a work-from-home solution until the business is ready or able to re-open locally. The accounts are set up in the business name with the Primary Contact reflected as the signor of the contract and the employee designated as the technical/scheduling/on-site contact.
