Stay Safe with Remote Worker Solutions

It has been plastered all over the news, Internet and social media channels for days. The President announced a ban on travel into the United States, NCAA is prohibiting fans from attending its annual tournament and the NBA has suspended its season until further notice. There is no doubt the coronavirus is leaving many in fear of what's to come. With cases in almost every state, there are major causes for concern. The COVID-19 has potential to cause significant disruption to business if it continues to spread at its current rate.

Our governments contingency plans are preparing for a scenario where up to a fifth of the workforce may be off sick during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic. In order to contain the virus and prevent it from spreading further, many businesses are insisting their employees work from home. CDP has been contacted by dozens of our customers inquiring about contingency plans. This is the time to ask yourself whether your business has the proper technology in place that allows employees to work remote. Some things to consider when enabling remote work solutions include:

· Access to reliable Internet connections at employee homes

· Cloud based phone systems (VoIP, UCaaS) - supports mobile and desktop users remotely and can include collaboration tools

· Cloud based call (contact) centers - voice, text and/or chat capability remotely

· File sharing (Onedrive, Dropbox Google Drive)

CDP has relationships and resources in place to help you successfully and quickly transition your workforce to a remote work environment. If you have any questions or would like to learn more please contact us today at solutions@cdpartnersllc.com.
