Accepting the New Normal

Updated: May 15, 2020

The "New Normal" is already the most overused term of 2020. It's a phrase many of us have heard on a daily basis... but what does it mean? The global spread of COVID-19 has forced millions to work remotely who were previously commuting to the office. To maintain business continuity, organizations are relying on remote worker tools now more than ever to stay connected. In some cases, this may be the first time your staff has had to communicate with one another in a decentralized environment. Many experts believe that this move towards remote work will be more of a permanent change, rather than a temporary one. A survey conducted by Gartner, a global research company, found that 74% of the 317 CFOs that were surveyed, plan to move their previously on-site workforce to permanently remote positions post-COVID 19.

- As businesses are planning for the return to normalize operations, what will the new normal look like for your business and is a full or partial transition to remote workers viable?

- What are the potential benefits to enabling a remote work environment?

- How can I be sure that my staff will remain productive remotely?
